2012 staff members

So, you've been hired or you've decided to return for another great season with Sunny Cove? Great! Now it's time to find out more information about Sunny Cove and to complete the remaining hiring information.

First things first. Whether your returning or coming up for your first season you will need to complete a 2012 Staff Information Form.

Now, be sure to review what you'll need to bring with you or purchase for your job and comfort in Alaska on our Gear List.

Next, there's a lot to learn! Review our reading and website recommendations to improve your Alaska Knowledge.

Start learning our paddle talk, you'll be repeating it. A lot. Read it and watch it. We'll expect you to know it during training.

Get familiar with our trips. All of our offerings and their descriptions can be found at www.sunnycove.com.

One more thing...We will need a current photo and a bio (no more than 250 words) to add to our site even if you're a returning staff member. Please email this info to employment@sunnycove.com.

Okay, one, one more thing. You must send us a copy of all of your current paddling and medical certifications, your driver's license and your driving record (if you are 25 or older) as soon as possible. Your employment is contingent on this information. If you arrive in Seward without valid certifications you will not guide. Driving records can be obtained through the DMV website of your licensing state. You may email a copy to employment@sunnycove.com or fax a copy to 907.224.8811.

Lastly, get ready! You're in for the adventure of a lifetime! If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to ask.
